An open house was held to celebrate the wedding of John\u2019s daughter Emily to Fred.\u00a0\u00a0 Wedding took place the day after the open house and many of John\u2019s friends and our family were able to attend.\u00a0 Of course, we had a jam session that exposed many to the sounds of Old Time music.\u00a0\u00a0 We played for about 2 hours and went through many of our favorite songs such as \u201cTennessee Flat Top Box\u201d and \u201cBonaparte Crossing the Rhine.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 We also got to play a couple of songs written by our brother David such as \u201cHidden Angel\u201d\u00a0 with our niece Katy joining in.\u00a0\u00a0 Lots of food, fun, and music.<\/p>

The evening before, we got a chance to practice\/play and have our sister Fran join in with her fantastic voice and a bit of fiddle playing.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Spent most of the time working on harmonies for songs like Anchored in Love and adding the fiddle to our some of our standards “Cripple Creek\u201d\u00a0 and \u201cBuffalo Gal.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
