It is unfortunate that in 2020 the Appalachian String Band Festival was cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID-19. As much as we missed going to this annual event to see family and friends but it was truly the correct decision by the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture, and History. It is commendable that they put the safety of our community first. It is also an omission that photos from last year’s events were not placed on this site. So instead of being there this year, here is an opportunity to view images from our last gathering. What is shown here were taken by John Fattaleh, William Sperin, and Sid Stephenson.
